Pineal Gland Cyst

My 22-year-old grandson is mentally challenged, but held a job, volunteered at the hospital, and did chores around the house until about a month ago.  He normally functions well and goes about his day without problems.  He was diagnosed with an 8mm pineal gland cyst about 6 months ago.  About a month ago he was volunteering at the hospital and suddenly didn't know where he was and didn't recognize his coworkers, who he knew well.  Now he is having fits of anger, crying spells, can't sleep, hits people and things.  He roams around during the night when others are trying to sleep.  Once during the day he went next door and entered a neighbor's house and just stood in the middle of her living room. He cannot be left alone because his actions are so unpredictable.  He has also been talking about God and saying that he has been having conversations with family members who have passed.  Instead of being able to do his chores, he has to be told step by step how to do anything...things that he normally does without help.  Could the cyst be causing this kind of problem?  It's located in the center of his forehead.

You can post in the Neurology and Brain/Pituitary Tumors Forums.

I don't know much about them.  I do know if they enlarge they can cause problems.

I was just diagnosed with a pineal cyst or cystic lesion (approx. 2 weeks ago), I have pressure, soreness, & scorching in my head; and have suffered with tiredness issues for as longa as I can remember and feel angry often, sometimes the anger comes with pleasure (so its a strength) sometimes with pain like any emotion (than its a misery).
I just wanted to ask you, in the talking to God and relatives who have passed on to consider this isn't a pinal cyst thing but a spiritual gift (if you haven't already); sometimes God gives gifts like these; all the more when people have been given other afflictions. God talks to me too, though that gift came the very month I had my confirmation at church; I have many afflictions.

Take care both of you.

Hi, I posted the last message and was litterally in a doctors office waiting room and got called, so I was unable to fully elaborate.

Heres some data:
- My cyst size is approx. 12mm.
- I have memory issues.
I also have what the doctor suspects might be m.s. (seen as multi focal white matter signal abnormalties in my brain); I mention this because there is more than one type of abnormalty in my head that could cause the symptoms that I explained.

Also, I'm no doctor, but based on what I've read, I would think its possible that your grandson might have something else going on medically, in addition to his pineal cyst and I say that because of him not knowing where he was.

One additional thing; I recommend getting some holy water and sprinkling it on his clothes that he will ware etc (if he will let you) and make sure that doesn't bring up any bad reactions instantaneously when he puts them on; if it does go see a priest.
My guess is that an evil spirit is not to blame in his situation, but I think its a good idea to dot the I's and cross the T's.

Again take care, both of you....
