The best way to know that is to see a doctor and get an evaluation. It is impossible to judge anything else via the internet.
Hi this is Angelo from Athens Greece.
I suffered a lot of on and off headach two months ago even when I was sleaping at night and at the same time a lot of pain in one of my eye.
I went to an eye doctor to have an exam. I thogh that all the symptoms had to do with the time I spent at work in front af the PC.
He found that there was nothing wrong with my eyes and he sugested to go and have an MRI.
I had an MRI done and was diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma, if I am correct 3 mm
I also had an hormone test and most of the limits were down, (some times the headach has to do with the hormone levels)
Until now I had not any healh problems, I never took any medication and now this hapend to me.
The endocrinologist gave me a medication and all the headach and pain disappear and I am back to what ever was doing before like going to gym.
I am scheduled for an operation on 19 of August.
So go and have an MRI to be sure and also take a blood test for hormone levels.
Take care
Angelo
Hi there,
I had migraines for years and sought medical attention for over 20 years. Two neurologists referred me to psychiatrists (didn't go) and other Dr.'s blew me off and wrote in my chart that I had anxiety issues. None of the Dr.'s I saw would order an MRI or even a CT - I had excellent insurance and even offered to pay out of pocket. Long story - but I had a seizure and had to be taken to a hospital. A CT was done and then an MRI was ordered - I had a 45 mm brain tumor. Bottom line - If your Dr. doesn't take you seriously, demand better care and switch doctors.
Best wishes - you are in my prayers.
