Tumor Concerns

This past week has been horrible for me.  Last Saturday, it just started that it seemed like I couldn't read silently.  My husband did the mini stroke test, and I passed that.  From an MRI on my  neck about a year and a half ago, it was confirmed that I do have oesteophytes in my neck causing neck stiffness and occaisional pain.   I don't have the usual tumor symptoms--constant headache, seizers, vision problems, numbness, tingling, etc--just this inability to read silently like I used to.  So now, I'm worried about a brain tumor on the left side of my brain.   I have two drs' appointments--one with my opthamologist and one with a neurologist.  But they aren't until August 6 and 8, respectively.   Does anyone here have any insightful information for me.

Thanks,

Judi

Thank you rumpled.  It's really weird.  I'm hoping it's all stemming from my neck issue.  I know those little bone spurs can cause some strange symptoms.  I'll keep the forum informed.

Can you talk to your PCP and see what he says? I have not heard of that as a tumor issue - but then again, I am totally a layman here. Maybe he can get you in faster if need be or get your scans done before the appointment.

Keep us posted.
