It was awful during the appointments, but it was actually a relief after it was done if that makes sense.
I had a very nice ENT and that also helped.
I was in my 40's doing this. I think it is really natural to be fearful. You have lived with it for a long time though and I hope you have a network to come to "terms" with it. I have no adrenals and live with a similar situation as life is fluid, you may be okay one minute and all heck break loose the next but we have an active on-line group where we discuss treatments, daily life and how no one can understand unless they are in our shoes.
Powering... eh... muddling. :)
These sound like Nightmears. Surgery, infections. How old are u each. Hope u don't mind being lumped in one group. U r both so brave to seek answers and treatments...surgery , sinus infection extraordinaire.
The laundry list of my illnesses, now I am 69, icant face the cure.most recent is a Meningioma , living with MS 20 yrs, living with brain aneurysms 20 yrs. now docs want me to have surgery for aneurysms.
I am to fearfull.
Cudos to you two for powering threw.

I got a sinus infection post op... In my sphenoid. I was on nasty antibiotics that did not help and there was no escaping the smell.
I ended up going back to my surgeon and he drained the site. Then my ENT scrapped it weekly (this was very painful) until we got it under control...
I would guess you need a great ENT to work with your surgeon.
