still getting sore bleeding spot in scar

i had my crainotomy 3yrs ago for my pit tumor. i had stiches taken out but later found 2 that had been left. i got those taken out sometime later. i have one spot in the deepest area of my scar that wont heal. the spot gets sore to the touch and swells a little knot the size of a pea. this knot comes up about every 3mnts. the spot feels like a blister and it bleeds and is sticky discharge.i have asked my mom and she told me it looks like a stich . i asked my neuro if it could be a stich and she said no . my neuro told me she dident knoe what it was. i have asked my family to scrap it to see if theres a stich and none will look or try. any ideas on what it is? should i demand my neuro to cut it to see whats going on? i do get very bad migraine before it comes every time. it has bleed enough to run down my face. please any advice is wanted.

My ACTH is currently 3000 and my MRI is clear. I was lactating and they did not see that tumor for years - it can be a tiny tumor and it can still wreak havoc. Size in these things just does not matter... if you are lactating though, get to an endo ( a good one, your is being a ditz) and get on the meds! You are feeling symptoms. You deserve to be treated. You have a history!

You should not have side effects from surgery at this point - but the tumors can come back.

thanks for your help.i have asked my family doc what is and i never got an answer.my doc is kinda dingy and she just laughs off everything and treats you like your crazy. i am looking for a new doc . i had been to her for almost 3yrs and never got an answer even for my migraines. i went to a migraine specilast and was diagnosed with chronic daily migraines and suicide migraines. i know what your saying about sterile instruments but it helps to scratch and squeeze it. good doctors are very hard to find here. im getting worried about my symptoms getting worse. i want your opinion on them to. my breast started leaking again and im getting light headed /dizzy alot. i feel like im in a daze and very quick to anger . i had an mri about 6mnts ago all clear. all my labs are low normal so my endo wont treat me. is this just side effects after pit sugery and something i have to live with? thanks rumpled for your help and support.

You can go to a pcp or a dermatologist to see what it is - but you should get it checked out. It would be better for a doctor to check it out rather than a family member, and for someone to use sterile instruments so you do not get an infection, or more infection.

Poor healing happens - so get it followed up -but the neuro is not the best choice to know how to treat it.
