I have been having these issues for at least 30 years and I am 48yrs now-  However, I have been having 20 to 30 lbs weight flectuation, thirsty, light headed, depression, anxiety, palpitations-skin lesions- etc-in 2007 I was given a full hysterectomy-My uterus was 3 months enlarged and infesed with cyst.  Recent MRI's show Pitutiray tumor, pineal gland cyst, chiari malformation.  I have been having episodes of petite seizures-trembles, IBS, rt flank pain.  Constant stomacj pain, cramping, gas & severe bloating looking like I am 3-5 months pregnant.  I notice they have been watching my organs every 3-6 months depending on results.  ACTH is 62, I have been having migrains for two days and even throwing up due to headaches.  I have ganglion cyst running thruout my fingers.  My bones ache in my hands, thighs head, spine, hips, back, neck and joints.  All these have been with me for the last 28 yrs plus just more intense lately.  I get disoriented after a few hours of activity.  I forget like crazy-food on stove-whether I showered or not etc.... This is not me and my primary physician says I am fine and I need to see a psychiatirst-yet she send me to endo specialist etc...I have lesions/scars on my face that turn black and will not heal or go away. My hair and nails stay brittle and dry.  My vision is double sometime, blurred.  Periodically have problems swalloing, breathing and balancing.  HELP!!

Field tests are called Humphries after the doc that created it - or just visual fields... some are narrow field, some are wide - most docs just do a quickie. LOL.
I hope you find a decent set of docs (check the health pages - there is info there as well as some sites that have doc lists to at least get a start) to help you... it is quite an uphill battle.

I am looking for a new primary now...I am being given a series of test-field test etc..Don't know specifics of the names of the test...They also stated chronic dry eyes...stuck shunts in the corners of my eye lids and give me drops for fake tears...I stopped asking cause they all act like I am crazy.....But they wanna run lab & test every 3-6 months.  I am actually really trusting God thru all this...which is why I ain't really saying much... I am looking to the Hill's to which cometh my HELP!  Otherwise Rumpled, I would lose my mind...

That sounds like the cyclical or episodic form of Cushing's... that is what I had as well - symptoms wax and wane - and it makes things harder to diagnose. Some docs think the form does not exist as hormones cannot cycle (er, period anyone???)

Is your eye doc checking the optic nerve and running optic fields?

And yes, I forgot to answer ur question, I have eye appts every six months. They say I have 50/50 glaucoma.  ENT says I have hearing loss.  And when my episodes begin my hair falls out in circles (alopecia).  Grows back but this goes on and on.  I was having tunnel vision-no peripheral vision-blurry, pain, jumping.  I see colors floating. Spots and I can go on.  WHen I am in the sun I tan and it turns purple on my thighs, arms and one side of my body gets darker than the other.  Hyperglycemia and ringing ears....WHat don't I have?  Have a good 1...

Thanx rumpled.  I noticed we have all the same issues.  My Cannabis Dr. Said the tumor is prolactinoma....and the others seem to have no idea.  My Primary physician told me that my tumors, malformations and cyst have NOTHING to do with my symptoms and she referred me to a psych.. I laughed at her....  I have all the symptoms of Addison's and some of cushings....My weight goes up and down from 20 to 30 lbs and has been since the age of 16yrs.  I've been told, MS, Fibramyalgia and epilepsy...  It feels good to see so many other's and know, It's not in my HEAD,.... I think you need to find another opinion IMHO.

First, you need to probably get the chiari looked at and treated. That can cause nasty headaches and other neurological issues. It is not a well known issue. There is a chiari section here and I would ask about that here.

As for the pituitary and pineal cyst - I would head on over to a pituitary center and get proper testing. ACTH is a very very fussy test - it needs to be in a chilled tube and spun right after the draw - so if the lab person put it in the bin, your results are lower than they are really are. Your symptoms sound like you are Cushing's and most doctors have no idea how to diagnose (I know this from experience - it took 12 years for them to do mine). Have you seen an eye doc?

You need a neuro-endo. I am going to send this over to the brain/pituitary area as it belongs there.
