Pineal Cyst and Sleep Problems

Hi, Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me? I was told in January that i have a 16mm Pineal cyst, this was diagnosed after 18 months of continuous daily headaches, i also have dizzy spells, mild confusion (forgetting words for things, losing track of what i am saying) and difficulty in staying asleep.
I have about 15 days a month when i wake at between 3 and 4am and find it impossible to go back to sleep, i generally get up and go downstairs so that i don't disturb my husband or children.
I am a normally healthy 32 year old and i don't want to spend the rest of my life like this!!
I have an appointment with my neurologist this Friday, (although my GP is very unhappy with the care i am receiving from her).
Can anyone suggest what i should do next, or even what to ask my neurologist, i am taking my husband to this appointment, as he is very good at getting answers, where i am pretty quiet.
Thanks in advance

Twinkle x

The pineal gland controls melatonin - which controls - sleep! That is going to mess up a lot of stuff.
I would consult a neuro-endo and a get more testing as that lesion is close to the pituitary and close to the optic nerve. I don't know if a neuro can treat this.

You need specialized testing. It can be removed. There is also an expert forum here - why not ask there too?
