2 BREAST LUMPS

I'm 26 and I have a breast lump, small marble size in my right breast; movable and not painfull in my inner lower quadrant(sometimes upon a few palpations i get a dull pain) .  I also have another lump in the inner upper quadrant of my right breast as well; new and not to too moveable, feels different from the other lump, feels more thicker.  My breast become very very sore before my menstrual period.  My soreness has decresed a lot since i've been taking evining primrose and vitamin e. 2 doctors indicated that I may have fibrocystic breast. I'm very obese, I'm a 48 ddd, african american, no history of breast cancer, african american.  Had my first child when I was 14 and had a second child at 18. I have regular periods. And I'm very scared. I'm scheduled to see a breast specialtist on the 27th.

I have found a lump in the upper part of my right breast. I found it while in the shower.  It is not exactly round... it seems more long. It is fairly hard and does not move.  I am 25 years old so I was actually shocked when the doctor told me I needed to hava diagnostic mammogram and an ultrasound.  The only thing is I could not get an appointment for a month.  It has been about two weeks and the lump has not changed. Is this type of lump common in 25 year olds?  Any advice or comments are appreciated.

I went to see a breast specialist today and had an ultrasound.  When the ultrasound picture came up it was completely black and the doctor said that it was a cyst.  But, he couldn't aspirate it because no fluid would come out. He then said that it was a fibroadenoma.  If anyone knows anything about fibroadenomas, please let me know.

I would also like to add that when I went to my first checkup with the doctor he told me that too much caffeine could cause breast problems.  Before he told me this I was drinking sometimes nothing but tea and colas all day long.  I drink only caffeine free sodas now.  its that still bad.

Dear Chella26:  These lumps could be many things including cysts.  Your age suggests that these are unlikely to be malignant.  However, you are doing the right thing.  Have the breast specialist examine you and determine if any other testing needs to be done.  Hopefully, all will be okay.
