Dear seven7, Regrowth of hair is very individualized, hair might grow back with a different color, or texture, it is also possible that the regrowth is thinner. Other factors now might be contributing to thinning hair as the chemotherapy effects are long gone from the system. For example, Some women have hair thinning after menopause, it could be if chemotherapy has put you into menopause this might be contributing to the thinning.
I did not mention that I am 67 and am way past menapause. I am taking Tamoxifen though. It is to draw the natural body estrogen out of my body. Could this have anything to do with the extremely thin hair? Probably not, brcause I know several women on Tamoxifen that have a nice full head of hair.
