I don't understand ....... please help !!!!!

My doctor's nurse just called me and told me my doctor wants me to see a surgeon. This is base on the biopsy results: Bening fibroglandular breast tissue with fibrous mastopathy including cystic change, apocrine metaplasia, papillomatosis and intraductal hyperplasia of the usual type.

I don't understand what this mean, the only good thing is that what ever it is, is benign. Can somebody explain this to me in plain english? I'll really appreciate it. I have to make an appointment for the surgeon as soon as my insurance apporove it.

Thank you for your answer. Is the papillomatosis reason enough to have this lump removed?

Dear latin40:  All of the terms you have included in your post describe benign breast changes.  Without more information, it is impossible to speculate on the reason your doctor has asked you to see a surgeon.  In order to get a correct answer, you should call your doctor and ask for the reason you are being asked to see a surgeon.
