A related discussion,
Should i be scared of a cyst was started.
I am not a medical professional but I have a number of cysts. Some I can feel and some I can't (but they're listed on my ultrasound report.) Oftentimes cysts change sizewith our mentral cycle, but not always. I've been aware of my cysts for about 1 1/2 years and they're still there, but I know sometimes they disappear. You can get a lot of info by doing a search on breast cysts on the internet.
sorry, i cannot help but i was wondering if i could ask you a question as well..do you always see cycts? or can they be hidden aswell? and how long do they usually last? can you feel them? im curious as i am aswell tryin to figure out whats going on with mine.
Dear Bertney: Cysts are fluid filled structures and are, by definition, benign. There is no reason to remove them as long as they are not causing pain and the doctors are certain that they are cysts. They can come and go, often becoming larger and more tender during certain times of the menstrual cycle.
