Tiredness & Thirst

I was dx with BC just 2 days ago and don't yet know any details.  (I am out of the state and got the news over the phone.)  Anyway, I have felt very tired and very thirsty for the last 4-6 weeks.  Is there any connection with the BC?

Hi,

How are you doing now? Have you seen your specialist as yet? What has been advised?

I know the realization of the diagnosis being a cancer would be tough to come to terms with. I would suggest that you maintain a positive approach and discuss all the treatment options with your doctor and move ahead.

You could read more about your cancer type at the following link-

This would help to clear out some of your doubts. Let us know if you need any other information.

Keep us posted and let us know about how you are doing.

Regards.

Hi,

You could continue with your scheduled plans and get the investigations done when you reach back home in the last week of April.

It would help if you could post your reports here, once you get them.

Let us know about how you are doing and what your doctor advises.

Regards.

Thank you for answering my question.  I go to a Comprehensive Breast Center and the doctor I saw is a radiologist that specializes in the breast. (She also did the biopsy)  have an appointment the day after I get back home from vacation to have MRI & CT and then an appointment with a surgeon the next morning.  These appts. are on April 23 & 24.

Would you advise going on back home and doing these things a little sooner?

I have had my blood pressure checked recently and it was fine.  Have not have my blood sugar checked though and will get that done.

Thanks again.

Hi,

The chances are that you are having the symptoms due to some other reason. Breast cancer causing these symptoms is not very common.

Have you got your blood pressure and blood sugar checked? Is it in the normal range?

It would be best to consult a breast specialist at the earliest and also get a copy of all your reports.

Do post us the reports too if possible.

Let us know about what your doctor advises and about how you are doing.

Regards.
