I'm not sure why with all negative results from your various biopsies that you think you have the right to "demand" an MRI. I also don't understand what type of blood work you would be wanting in a case such as yours. As I stated previously there is NO blood work that would indicate the presence of cancer. With these many negative results and only a short term re-check which by the way is a normal recommendation (indicated by the Birads 3 category) I can't understand why you keep insisting on demanding other avenues of treatment. Meaning no disrespect but you don't seem to accept any of the results or opinions of the Drs at the breast center for some reason. I would agree that the findings discovered are most likely cysts and these are BENIGN requiring very little, if any, treatment. They are often related to the hormone levels in your body which vary from time to time. I doubt that you are going to gain much satisfaction if and when you do see a 4th Physician but in any case .... YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE RECOMMENDATIONS THAT ARE MADE RATHER THAN DEMANDING TREATMENTS THAT AREN'T APPROPRIATE IN CIRCUMSTANCES SUCH AS YOURS. I will say one more time; there is NO type of blood work that should be done under these circumstances. I would advise that you be ever so thankful that your results have been negative rather than spend time and money going from Dr to Dr. You say you are tired and need to know ..... my dear you do know but for some reason you don't seem to want to accept what you're being told and what is demonstrated by all the tests. Best wishes ......
thank you cause its time i think i demand a m r i and ask why no blood work i have no health care sorry but it is true health care you live none you die , bi raids 3 need more follow up i ask her i said no insurance but you will wait tile june to do a test most insurance comp look that over carefully , so there is somthing wrong i feel it l, and i think a new doctor , to young to die , thank you ,
First of all there is no bloodwork that will tell you whether you have or don't have breast cancer ! If you are seeing a breast specialist then I would definitely follow the recommendations he/she has set forth. BIRADS 3 only indicates that your findings are probably BENIGN but do need to be checked more often than is normally advised; probably 6 months or maybe even 3 months. I'm not sure why you had a biopsy with a Birads 3 but that is beside the point. If the finding was ruptured during biopsy then it was mostly likely a cyst. Pain is rarely associated with breast cancer but is present with cysts or fibroadenomas. If you haven't had a 3D Mammo I'm at a loss to see why you think you need an MRI and once again .... NO bloodwork would ever be done to indicate breast cancer or any other abnormality of the breast tissue. You state that you either don't or won't have Insurance and that is the reason you haven't had the additional Mammogram. If this is true then you certainly wouldn't be able to afford a Breast MRI. If you aren't willing to believe or do not have faith in your present Physicians then by all means seek the advice from another Dr and be sure he/she is a Breast Specialist. Clusters of calcifications do not always indicate breast cancer and those are the areas that are usually subjected to a biopsy; a great number do come back negative for cancer and evidently this is what happened in your case. Good luck finding another Physician and PLEASE follow whatever is recommended. Regards .....
