After breast and lymph nodes removal other lymph nodes on the other armpit

Hello,
My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and lymph node metastasis on both armpits. The affected breast was the right.
She had chemotherapy and radio therapy. After this treatment, the lymph nodes on the left armpit (not the one corresponding to the breast with cancer) disappeared and the doctor decided to remove the right breast and the lymph nodes from the right armpit.
After 2 years from the surgery she noticed 2 lymph nodes on the left armpit. They are mobile and small.
What does this mean? What do you think it will happen? We are very worried...

Thank you very much in advanced for your answer and help.

Dear toniri4:  Enlarged lymph nodes could mean several things, including recurrence.  Without examination, and possibly a biopsy, we cannot speculate on what this could be.  Your mother should make an appointment with her oncologist to examine her and make appropriate recommendations.
