im worried

i have a hard lump on my upper thigh. its too firm to be a mosquito bite and too big to be a pimple, but its not very big. a round bump. should i be afraid? im only 17 though

my thoughts, could be merca. both my little sisters got it in the exact same spot on different thighs, and my cousin got a staff infect on his arm. the twins had it easy. if it is merca, which we call the funk, then it would kinda remind u of a hangnail and a zit. So try squishing it, hard. if theres a knot underneath it, squish it out. thats my advice
