lumps under arm

After the birth of my 2nd daughter 1990 and nursing of her, i developed a lump under my right arm.. sometimes painful and othertimes just big swollen.. hot showers reduced it for awhile.. but it hurts.. all doctors each year said it was nothing to worry about.. i even had a mamography of it.. not to worry ..but i feel like 3 lumps.. and they get big when it gets sweaty.. so... i had lipotosuction and mini plast on my abdomin and the plastic surgeon also did a lipto suction on that under arm lump he swares he took out lots of fat... but after the operation it is swollen very much and he say it normal and nothing to do it will go.. but i feel the hard lumps still there.. i think he took out the excess fat or breast tissue but not the nodes or whatever those lumps are.. what are they.. are they swollen glands, nodes.. or are they like some growth .. how can i get them to not be swollen or removed.. i hoped this liptosuction would remove it all but i guess it only removes the tissue not the lumps themselves which are still there and very sore..

i noticed if i put alot of pressure on them when they hard they soften up and temporarily disappear and it is more comfort but within 20mins they return hard lumps..

Dear MANTOINETTE:  Without evaluation, including physical examination, we cannot speculate on what these lumps may be.  Certainly, if they have been there and are unchanged since 1990, they are unlikely to be cancer.  Your doctor will be best equipped to evaluation the situation and make recommendations for further evaluation if needed.

today i saw the doctor that did my liptosuction.. he insist its ok.. that the lumps i feel are not needed to be removed.. they are fiber tissue?  filled with water???? and that in 3 mths or 6mths it should go down and be ok.. nothing i can do for the pain and uncomfort.. ????? he said it consisted of fat and fiber ..he took the fat out with lipto but the fiber swells up and nothing i can do but wait it out.. ??? anyone else have similar problem.. any cream or anything that helps the pain of these rock hard lumps???

i noticed one day i pressed my thumb into them so hard as i could not stand their pain.. and it seemed to soften them and make them temporarily srink and felt good for half hour then they swollen up again hard... doctor said i squeezed the water out of a sponge and then water comes back into the sponge.. fiber tissue.. its just soooo uncomfortable having these.. i actually feel like getting a knife and cutting the lumps out myself.. but ill wait and wait and wait.. unless anyone know relief..
