Tingling/Pain in Feet

I had 5 rounds of A/C, followed by 3 rounds of Carboplatin/Taxol, and 1 round of Carboplatin/Taxatere (switched because of the numbing/tingling).  It has been 6 months since my last treatment.  It took over 3 months for the constant numbing/tingling to go away my fingers and feet,  but I still seem to have one remaining problem. When I lie down or have my feet elevated, when I return to an upright position, I have severe pain in my feet.  The pain only last about 1-2 minutes, but can sometimes bring me to my knees in pain.  The longer that I have been "horizontal" the worse the pain is.  Needless to say, when I get up in the mornings is the worse time.
Is there anything I can do to reduce the pain, and will this ever go away?  I have been taking a multi-vitamin that has 300% of the Daily allowance of B-6 (which I had heard was good for numbing/tingling) feet.

Dear motherof2insouthernflorida, I am noting for you the direct link to the side effect management section of Chemocare.com website that discusses the side effect of numbness/tingling.  There is a good explanation of the side effect and some suggestions that may be of help.  You should also discuss your continued discomfort with your oncologist who may be able to prescribe medication to help with this.  The direct link is: http://www.chemocare.com/managing/fullstory.sps?iNewsid=24258&itype=1875 Or you can go to the site www.chemocare.com and under the category managing side effects find numbness and tingling.

You should talk to your oncologist, or a neurologist. There are some medications, such as neurontin, that can help neuritic pain. That requires a prescription. B6 might help.
