nipples pierce / lumps

I am 45 and I had my nipples pierced a month ago. About a week ago I started getting pain in the right side of my right breast and now there is a lump. Everytime I clean it I can feel a slight discomfort to that spot. Is there anything to worry about?

In our lives, we suffer a lot.. We walk through on several trials, that causes us to give up. Sometimes we think life is so unfair because of the hindrance we've been through. Dear im2busynow:  Without evaluation, it is impossible to speculate on what might be causing your pain and discomfort.  It could be as simple as infection.  Nevertheless, if there is a lump that was not there before, it should be evaluated.
