soar breasts

I am a 27 year old mother of two and i have very soar breasts i do self exames and at times find a lump but they are in both breasts in the same locations could this be breast cancer or would it only be in one breast?

Dear jillzamarron:  It is not uncommon to have lumpy painful breasts particularly prior to one’s menstrual cycle.  Most breast cancer is not painful.  If you are concerned, you should have your doctor do an examination.

i understand that it is common to have soar breasts before my menstral cycles but im not gettiing my periods at all its been 6 months and still nothing i no im not pregnant cause i had my tubes tied in 2003 is there any other things it could be??????

I have sore, itchy areolas. NO! lumps, discharge, or change in appearance of breast. I don't get it.
