I think I ovulated Friday after finishing my round of Clomid. Oing was a little painful and happened really quickly. I went from a very faint line on the OPK to a positive in like a day and back down again the next day. Caught me by surpise! I tooks some pain meds on Thanksgiving because of a terrible headache and I wish I hadn't now but I can't take it back. We did the BD every other day and didn't get to do it everyday like I wanted so I hope we caught it. I guess I shouldn't worry about it. It's going to be a long TWW. I'm really hoping this is our month. My due date would have been 12/7/10 and I am really feeling bad about it. I was hoping I would have a BFP to look forward to for the holidays. Anyway, no question, just venting I guess. I hope everyone is doing well and getting their BFPs!

well im 12dpo today so I will be testing on Sunday or Monday!!  if its neg im taking a month off and will be seeing an RE in Jan!!!  SSBD to all in TWW.  This one has been the worst by far and I've done 8 rounds of clomid!!!  ALli want for xmas is my BFP!!!

I'm finally in my TWW!!!  Am I too late?  Ha ha!  I thought I'd be right there with everyone else, but I didn't ovulate until cd25!!  I'm on cd29, most women would be seeing AF already, and I've just started my TWW!  Sorry just needed to vent.  And was hoping to get any updates!

I hadn't heard that but I'm not sure it's true. I think it just delays O. I O'd on CD14 or so instead of CD9 or 10. You could test on Friday. It would be early but if you are pregnant you may get an early BFP. The clock resets at ovulation and it is 14 days after O that AF is due. So this month your cycle will be a 31 day cycle.
I'm sure Clomid did work for me and I'm worried that I've been spotting for days and it's getting heavy and I'm not due to start till at least THursday.
Oh and grapefruit juice is supposed to help thin CM and maybe even make a little more which could just be because you drink more liquids. Anyway, good luck to everyone.

This TWW is killing me!!! I am so anxious to test but am trying my best to wait!  My cycle is normally 28 days, but this month (my first round of clomid) I ovulated three days later than normal...I've heard that is because taking clomid cd3-7 "resets" your first cycle to cd1 being the first day of taking the clomid not cd3 as you would expect.  Is anyone else familiar with that???? Also, can I test on Friday, since that is when AF would normally arrive or will it be too early and I should wait until Monday? My husband keeps telling me "just try not to think about it"...but I can't help but interpret every sensation I'm feeling!!!

Bev...how does grapefruit juice help CM?????

Hi ladies hope your all well not having too many side effects from the clomid.It does actually dry up your CM but i took robittusin and grapefruit juice and it helped me lots.My progerterone levels on day 21 with clomid were 96,52 and 98 on my 3 clomid cycles.Now im not taking clomid my RE wants my levels tested the next few months just to see the difference from when i was on clomid.Hope you all get good results ladies SSBD Bev xx

I can say I defintely think it's the Clomid. I too didn't have any problems with EWCM but since I have been on Clomid its been way different. I have used Preseed for awhile and it works wonders...

No we never stop BDing! I just don't track it the rest of the month :) I'm not going in for any test this time unless I get a BFP. I didn't get any EWCM this time that I could tell which made it really hard to know what was going on. I used Preseed to be safe. I have never had that problem before so I think it was the Clomid. I'm gonna try not to test till the end of next week.

Well hopefully you won't stop BD'ing completely anyway!  Ha ha!  Poor DH!  But I understand the confusion with clomid giving you symptoms while trying to listen to your body and figure out all this madness!  Will you be going in for a day 21 blood test?  
Right now I'm on cd14 but haven't had any CM so I'm thinking I'm still at least 3-4 days from ov.  Last cycle (which was my first round on clomid) I didn't ov until cd18!  But I'm just grateful I do ovulate, I can't be too greedy!  Ha ha!

They say not to test for 3 days after your last clomid. I did 2 days after just to see and it did show a pretty good line. Then I tested on day 3 and it was almost gone so I think day 2 was the Clomid. Then on day 4 it started to darken again. I kept testing even after I thought I O'd. I had varying degrees of darkness until yesterday so I'm still not sure I o'd on Friday but the line is gone now so I think I was covered no matter when I O'd. We just stuck to every other day to be safe. I hope that does the trick! I'm not sure if I should keep BDing or not! Just so confusing!

I've read the same thing about false positive OPK when taken within three days of the last pill...if it is more than three days after your last pill it should be accurate...at least from what I've read!
I got a positive OPK on Monday morning...it caught me totally by surprise as I did not feel ANY of the usual signs I normally experience prior to O.  Is that wierd??? I heard many people experience sore breasts and nips...which I normally do but not this month. I only felt uncomfortable cramps/twitching on my Rt and L sides.

So am officially in the TWW too! Fingers crossed for all of us!!!!

Hi hun not sure about what you are saying,all i know is that clomid can effects the OPK results and also give you false pregnancy symptoms.I took clomid for 3 months and that was enough for me.SSBD xx

Please clarify...from what I've been told OPK's are only affected by clomid if taken 3 days or less from your last pill.  If taken after 3 days it shouldn't have any effects.  Do you have more info on this?  Thanks!
