found 2 hard lumps uner armpit the size of peas
I found one lump under my left armpit a week ago and today discovered that there are now 2 lumps. They are the size of peas hard and sore to touch.
I also have another lump the same on the back of my neck.
Iam 39 years old.
What do you think the cause of this could be.

Yes that should be fine. But remember not to wax or shave in the underarm area for some time now on. You could also try warm compressus if there is pain associated. Goodluck!

Many thanks I will wait a couple of weeks to see if lumps go away and if not then will visit my GP.

Hi,
You could have enlarged axillary lymph nodes if you have used a deodarant, done waxing or shaving in the under arm region. The most common cause of enlarged lymph nodes is infections. Do consult your physician - he will prescribe you a course of antibiotics. If the lymph nodes still persist , then they would need to be investigated further. Persistent enlarged lymp nodes would need to be investigated to rule out malignancy including lymphoma etc. A biopsy also might be advised then. Goodluck.
