I have had an abnormal CA 19.9 level for 3 years now from 69 increasing slowly to 85 after 2 years. I have been put through all the tests and scans and my Doctor has found nothing abnormal. I chose to leave it for a year because I thought it was obviously an False positive reading. I had another test the other day and have found out that it has jumped to 358! Will a false positive increase like that? I have no symptons. I know that this marker shouldn't be used as a diagnosis tool but I hear pancreatic cancer doesn't show symptoms until it is too late. I Go see my Doctor on Wed what tests should they be doing? Is this jump a cause for concern? Not sure if I am freaking out for know reason!!
