CEA Levels

My question would be most unusual. In my dream last night a doctor told me that I had raised levels of CEA and that I had Leukaemia. Not the kind of dream I like having but I was surprised to come online today and find out that CEA is a term used with cancer and not a term I had ever consciously heard before.

Im now considering to go into my doctor and ask for a CEA test, how to do this without looking like a crazy man? Any advice?

I would also be concerned if a dream told me of that. =)  Maybe you should start by looking up sign and symtoms of leukemia, and if that still doesn't ease your mind, go ahead and see a doctor. I'm sure they've had weirder cases, and they surley won't hold anything against you OR think you're crazy.

Best of Luck,
Kate

thanks kate, my doctor is a bit of an ***, i made a mistake registering with him for medical services just because he was nearby. As for signs and symptoms I seem to be fine other than increasing numbers of visual floaters!  Anyway, I did a blood test two months ago for something else, i might see if I can get the results off of that and see if they are anyways abnormal. thanks for the reply!
