what is calcification within the right hemipelvis mean?

What does a 1.2 cm cystic lesion in the right hemipevis, posterior to the right external iliac vein mean on a MRI  Thank you for your time.

Hi.  I'm assuming that this is a reading from an imaging procedure? An x-ray or CT, perhaps? May I know for what condition/illness the procedure was done? Calcifications are whitish opacities seen in x-rays or CT films.  The right hemipelvis refers to your right hip area.  As to what those calcifications mean would depend on what your condition is and what the doctors were looking for when they ordered the imaging procedure.  

I'm hoping you can give some more details about your condition, so I can provide you with a more definite answer.
