Sounds more like a postpartum thyroid issue, check it out. I am not a doctor but having medical issues myself (carcinoid) as well as thyroid and have been doing alot of research.
Hi Kris.
Carcinoid tumors are slow-growing. It is derived from neuroendocrine cells that are commonly dispersed along the length of the gastrointestinal tract, lungs, pancreas, and biliary tract. They can occur at any age, but is common in the sixth decade of life.
Carcinoid syndrome can occur in patients with carcinoid tumors. This occurs in about 1% of patients with carcinoid tumors.
The symptoms you are experiencing are nonspecific and can be caused by a variety of disease conditions. Work-ups need to be done in order to be more certain of the diagnosis.
Hope this helps.
