Nipple Discharge

Hi, i'm a girl of 25, both my nipples produce discharges when i squeeze them. they are of different colors, but one of the ducts of my left breast produces a discharge which is clear but slightly yellowish and orangish than the other ducts where other ducts produce discharges of no color. i showed this to my physician but he says this is something you should not care about even.

What i want to know is whether the above description means i have single duct discharge(regarding the orange one). and what does this means really??? iv seen a lot of articles about this and kind of scared. No one in my family has a history in cancer.

Hi,
I had the same type of discharge, but no other symptoms.  My PCP recommended me to have an MRI.  I was really scared, but it turned out to be a very common diagnosis. My PCP said I have a condition called pituitary microadenoma, which is a small tumor on my pituitary gland that causes an increase in lactase which gives me a discharge  almost like lactating. I was put on Digoxin and then weaned off.  They monitor the tumor every 1yr with a MRI. So far no change and no discharge.   Hope this helps. kk46
