When I had a lumpectomy and a sentinel lymph node biopsy the lumps were brown in color, when the doctor removed them. When looking in a mirror they were flesh (normal in color) but looked like orange peel . The lab mixed the histolic and cystolic together which meant the doctor had no lab sample to diagnose with. Only that the lumps were brown in color. I had several ultrasounds and mammograms and an MRI. I am not certain of whether it was cancer or pre cancer. I once saw a chart on the internet that showed the colors and how to identify by that but had to get off in too much a hurry to see what the lumps might have been.
