Itching on breast nipple and white secretions

I had stage 2 brest cancer this year. Had a lumpectomy and 16 days of high dose radiation in April. I still have itching on the nipple and a white secretion that plugs up the nipple, turns kind of hard and itches worse. I put ointment and bandaid on over night and pick out the white stuff with tweezers, then i get some relief from the itching for a few days, until the cycle starts all over again. Its been almost 7 months since i finished radiation. I am also taking tamoxifen, which i hate because I have no sex drive at all. Ant suggestions.Type your medical question here

Thank you. I see my oncologist in january. I will speak to her about this. I have done some reading on DIM and Myomin as an alternative to Tamoxifen. What is your opinion on this? The cost is a lot higher for supplements than the regimen i am on. That is the downfall for me. Do you have an opinion on these supplements?

How are you now? Indeed, there are many adverse effects of tamoxifen that are not good. The presence of itching and secretion may be associated with hormone changes as well as your treatment. However if it persists, it is best that you check with your attending physician for proper evaluation and management. Take care and do keep us posted.
