Hi. Lipomas are non-cancerous growths and usually do not spread or metastasize to other parts of the body. However, there is a chance they might recur after surgery. If the lipoma is causing symptoms because of its size (example: pain or obstruction) then surgical removal is warranted. I don't think exercise can directly cause shrinkage of these tumors, although it can have other benefits to your body, so there's no harm in doing it.
I have a very large lipoma tumor on my left buttocks I am very self conscious about it I can't wear tights or bathing suits I want it gone but I don't have money to get it removed does anyone know of any Lipoma removal doctors pro bono who will remove it in the grandrapids Michigan area HELP ME PLEASE
