Hello,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am running a genetics lab in Switzerland and we recently got a male patient affected with breast cancer who carries the exact same BRCA2 mutation as yours.
I would be interested to get in contact with the lab who performed your genetic test in order to possibly exchange information in order to help assess the clinical significance of this specific mutation. Do you think this would be feasible?
Thanks in advance and all the best,
JC
Thanks. I'm hoping for the 'common' type anyway, just concerned about the other.
In people your age, those findings often mean a number of things other than cancer. The fact than cancer runs in your family puts you at risk, but masses on the liver are not that uncommon.
I am really concerned for you and your family dear.
But I wonder that you are facing a second cancer! It's really rare but I know that you will recover from it, too.
