With masses these size it would be difficult to miss them, so obviously the US is accurate.
I won't recommend "jumping" to any conclusions about what all this means without further testing, etc. I would think these "masses" need to be biopsied eventually to know EXACTLY what they are in regards to cancer after the CT scan is completed.
"What is the quality of life for her thereafter if her tumour is resectable and she indeed has it removed via some rendition of the Whipple?" I am confused about this statement? Did the physician discuss this with you or what? Or Is this BASED on something you saw on the internet? Can't imagine a physician telling you this and he/she doesn't even know for sure exactly what he/she is dealing with.
