Red Sore Under Arm

I have been having pains in my left, where I can not stand to move it, yesterday I went to shave under my arm of my left arm, I found a huge red sore under my arm. It is sore and red with huge puffy lines. I could barely stand to shave there. What could be causing this? I have had skin cancer on face, the doctor said it came from the sun, but I don't go out into the sun. When i do....its early morning and late around 7pm.....

How old are you?

Underarm lumps are axillary lymph nodes which could be enlarged secondary to infection or even trauma. They are usually enlarged when a new deodorant is used, after shaving or waxing the underarm area.

Try some warm compresses and avoid shaving, waxing or using a deodorant for a few days and see if it helps to resolve your symptoms.

If your symptoms still persist, it would be best to consult your doctor for a clinical examination.
