Skin Cancer - Skin Donation

Weve just found out that my grandfather has Skin Cancer and that the growth on the top of his head has to be removed ASAP and a skin graft.  As he is 90yrs old, and not in very good health,  I have offered to be his skin doner.  I would like some advice as to what scarring I am likely to get and how long the healing process might be for me. I am speaking with the plastic surgeon soon, but any information would be greatly appreciated
