Son to have biopsy friday. He is almost 9

My son will be 9 soon, and has had these 4 lymph nodes in his neck, behind ear and back of head. The larger one is 1cm. He has had this for 5-6 weeks now. He had blood work done and sedrate level was 25. Had it done again 2 weeks later and it was a 2. He has had night sweats, fever (low grade) on and off. Night sweats every night. Itching. He itches alot sometimes. He gets headaches and his tomache is bloated. He also gets tired some more than normal, mainly at night. We are scheduled for biopsy friday. My question is, the doctor said he is 99% sure it is not cancer, which i am happy about. He was reluctant to o the biopsy. I insisted, after the worry i have been through. What is going on with all these symptoms. He was tested for lymh disease, mono and has had no sore throat or even runny nose.Could he be wrong? How does he know this with all the symptoms. Oh, and my son lost 6 pounds in 3 weeks. Am I overreacting?
