What are some precautions to take while flying with cancer?

A loved one has locally advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma and needs to travel to Germany (12 hour flight) for treatment. However she is 80 years old and has never taken a flight before in her life. I can afford business class for her but I am concerned that she might not be able to take the flight due to fatigue and weakness exacerbated by the illness. How do I minimise the risks involve for her to have a safe flight to Germany? Can she fly without a medical professional by her side? Thank you in advance.

It's best to get her doctor to answer the question of if she can fly- given her age and the fact that cancer can cause different complications for different people in different stages, I'd see if you can't get an idea from the doctor what precautions need to be taken.
