3 tiny white spots on my tongue.

Hi, I'm 16 and I started dipping snuff about 2 months ago, I have tried to quit but it has been hard, I recently became a new-found Christian after 2 years of denying him. But i have a question..
I recently found 3 tiny white spots on my tounge, 2 on the top, and one kinda large one on my right side, now i have a really bad overbite and I tend to get the ones on my side from where my teeth has bit up againts my tounge, my question is, could this be cancer? or could it be "it's time to stop dipping for good!" also i have roughness on the left side of my gums where my cheek is, anyways if anyone has some info or could pray for me, i could use all the help i could get :]

Hello Doctornee, thank you for your comment, I will try to get my mom to take me to the dentist or the doctor, i told her i quit but then i kept doing it, so hopefully i can get through this and hope the problems inside my mouth will go away as long as i quit for good, thanks for everything!

Good to know you realize you need to give up your habit. As you can see its doing you no good. I would like to tell you frankly that it could be cancer or precancerous stage, though this may not be the only diagnosis of your condition. And one does not need to wait for something so drastic to give up a habit like yours.

I realize and fully empathize with you that it will be difficult. But I am positive that your faith in God will see you through.

Another important thing is have a dental examination. Maybe you have caries and rough edge of a tooth that is causing this problem.These experts can also look into your problem of white spots and rough cheek.

Also please consult a physician as there may be another cause of this problem, that not local.

Please post the results of your examination and any further queries.
