MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Please cool down and visit your clinician.
Let the diagnosis take place and hope that it may be just simple nodes.
Lymph nodes swell even for simple infections.
Then we can be sure what this lump is and in the future always learn to do a breast self examination every month and going for the clinician every year for your tests.
Please learn how to do breast self examination every month.

Hi Hannah,
It's a good idea to make an appointment obviously.  The fact that you've had the lump for 3 years and it's done nothing seems like a good sign to me.  There are other kinds of lumps we get besides cancer.  Sometimes we get fatty lumps that can occur anywhere.  Sometimes they get bigger and encroach on other muscle tissue and nerves and they cause pain because of this.  Keep positive thoughts. You might want to Google 'Lipomas' and see if your symptoms fit that scenareo.  Hopefully it will be something non-cancerous like this and an easy fix.
take care,
