The hair probably wont grow back. I have lost most of mine on my mustache. And chest hair nearly all of my pubic hair and after 10 years they have yet to grow back.
This problem exists equally or can happen to anyone going through chemo whether they are male or female. I am not sure where you got the info that it is worse for women. I will comment that women have a more difficult time with losing their hair than men.
I would say this will be a "wait and see" situation.
It's been several years and they were the normal kind where they take donor hair from the lower back. They were then transplanted to the crown and front. All together, about 3000 grafts. They ended up being really good. I understand the problem is worse for women regarding chemo, but, since I'm a male, I'm not sure what to expect.
What type of hair transplant procedure did you have done?
Hmmmm. Difficult to answer this one.
I have seen people grow hair in areas where they had no hair or had trouble growing hair before chemo.
"I made" should be "I may" sorry
