lump on collarbone

My 7 yr old son has a very hard lump at the end of his clavicle (throat end)  that is painless and only moves slightly when manipulated. Any ideas on what this could be?

Any update? I took my 8 yr old daughter in to urgent care today for something similar. All he could tell me was that it was on her collar bone and not a lymph node.

Hi,

How hard is the lump actually - is it bone like or mass like?

Also,a sk your doctor for a chest xray.

Do let us know what the surgeon tells you.

Hi,

It would not be possibe to comment on this without a clinical examination of the lupm that you are describing.

Since when was the lump noticed?

Because your child is only 7 years old , it would be best to see a pediatrician for a proper clinical examination and see what he/she has to say about the lump.

Do not try to manipulate it or try any home remedies without consultation with a pediatrician.

Do let us know what the doctor tells you.
Good luck.
Regards.
