The entire exercise is dangerous, but cancer patients are told to stay away from excessive sunning

Tanning beds are not good for anyone without cancer, so I would think she/he should be no where near a tanning bed especially during treatment.

I am not even sure about the swimming every day because of the chemically treated water during treatment.

Stage III cancer?  What kind of cancer does this person have?

He/she definitely should be going by his/her Oncologist's recommendations.

On the other hand, stage III cancer of any sort is advanced.  Maybe he/she has the mindset he/she is going to do things he/she enjoys whether it be the best thing he/she should be doing because of his/her diagnosis/prognosis.
