pick line /melanoma treatment

Hi all , I just had the pick line put in today, at the local hospital - it took about 2hours total time.. I felt pretty good
afterwords ,but arm throbbed abit.. now its really throbbing in the area of the pick line.. there are two lines installed
im to start up soon on interfearon -  they told me while haveing the line installed that one goes to the main vain and other just over the heart area.  is it common to get a slight burning feeling in the chest area ? where the line is ??
and does the line go that far ? into the chest ?  being I have no heart problems, but do have h.b.p and im on meds for that daily.

im just wondering if anyone had these problems -feeling like this after a line was installed.
its not all the time, just off and on and very slight.. then stops for hours at a time !

I think if this keeps going on , I will have the pick line removed - and go another way !  of treatment ..
who knows . maybe it will stop !!!
I see the oncologest tomorrow a.m  so will tell him straight about it.. see what happens.. just hope he wont lie to me..

spicy1 thank you for your kind thoughts!  im haveing a hard time now
with the pick line after effects.  but doctor checked me out and its normal and he wants to take some pain pills to keep the swelling down
and pain as well.

Im to start the interfearon treatments Monday.  of next week. not looking forword to it.. but must try !  as its the last final step in my recovery from the melanoma.   other than check ups every few months.
