My cousin has cancer. We've been told he has a tumor the size of a football in his spleen and had to have it removed asap. His white blood cells are way down. And we were also told the spleeb could burst and he could bleed to death without even knowing it until it is too late. In spite of all this, his appt isn't unti 3/4/08
In the meantime he is tired, not feeling well, poor appetite, and you can see how large his chest is getting. We are very concerned. Personally, I don't trust his dr. My cousin went through chemo last summer and by fall was in "remission". When he went back a couple of weeks ago with all these symptoms...the dr was amazed and said it was a more aggressive cancer than he thought. I can't accept that as an answer.
Would you suggest anything or do you have any comments.
thank you

Hi.
Splenic tumors are rare.
