testicular masses

My son went to the dr. yesterday because he found a "knot" on his testicle. The doctor said that he has 4 of them one on his testicle that concerned him more. He is having an ultrasound this am. My son is 20. I am worried. Are there other conditions besides cancer that this could be. If so, what are they?

Try hard not to get ahead of yourself there are other benign conditions which may present as lumps.
