Corrie....I just recused a little tortie that I call Tori...she too is very active and loving the older boys I have,(sometimes a bit TOO much)..the stress of having a new little one did also bring out the herpes virus in my oldest boy Nemo, he developed an eye infection. It was successfully treated with TOBREX ointment for 10 days and also L-lysine 1000mg than dropped back to 500mg for another week. hopefully your kitties will clear quickly as well.
btw...welcome Gus, I had to laugh, my first love years ago was a tuxedo named Gus....oh he was a darling, have wanted another tuxedo ever since but others keep coming my way never a tuxedo...maybe someday...again welcome, post us some photos when you can!!!
my condolences nancy....on the loss of dear Zany. RIP little girl. you were loved and looked after right to the end.♥
We lost our Zany in October, She was a Bengel breeding ***** we rescued from a breeder who had way over bred her when she was about 2 years old. She developed cancer a couple of years ago and had a tumor removed but it metastasized to her lymph nodes and esophagus. She remained comfortable and pain free for 2 years and once the cancer grew to the point where it became difficult for her to eat and swallow, she mercifully passed very quickly. She was almost 17.
Thank you so much! Maisie is still missed by me and her surviving litter mate, Callie.
I was blessed 2 weeks ago to adopt a healthy 10 month old medium haired tuxedo cat who I call Gus.
Still some kinks to work out because all of the stress has triggered a herpes upper respiratory infection in my sweet Callie. For now it is only viral and under control so I will continue Polysporin eye drops and L-Lysine and keep an eye on any progression. The vet seemed confident that by this time next week that if it hasn't progressed she will be well on her way to being her normal self.
Gus is so easygoing and friendly I am hopeful that once Callie is well again that they will bond.

As we think over the year and tally our losses and wins...tis bittersweet the memories of our little ones.
So sweet of Cheryl to stop by!
I also want to add my hugs and prayers to all of our awesome members that lost their fur babies.

Can take some comfort in knowing Hildie is back with her sister, that Chessie can see Kessie again, too, and ole Cammie, who is introducing them her sister Victoria, plus Cerridewn and April Dancer.
I like to think they've also met my beloved little Tuna Cat, Lily, Baby Cat and Tiger (my other childhood friends). Also Anita's childhood friends Tiger, Fonzie, Sylvester, Smoky and Junior.
We really were, Sara.
Sending up a Christmas prayer to all our babies at the Bridge...
We were all so blessed to have these babies~
lets keep this bumped up at least till the end of the year everyone....
This morning I went back to read your posts from 09 when Loreena was giving birth to her 6 kittens. 5yrs ago last month it was. I have never forgotten your Christmas journal describing Loreena and her babies... Joy, Lucky, Spot and Simon...on a Christmas card you had made while including , the 2 kittens that had passed (Cream Boy and White Boy), in the stars above them. Oh my, that was so touching, I cried my eyes out back then. xo
Thank you, Cheryl. So kind of you to stop by. It means a lot to us.
Please know we are thinking of you and your dear pets, now and always during the year.
Your Friends at MedHelp.

Crying with you all! Fortunately,I just have 2 almost newborn kittens at the other side of rainbow bridge and it was a looong 5 years ago.
The "Gang" from MH must have been having fun there
I makes me feel better to know I will get this kind of support when I had to say goodbye to my babies - in a veeeeery remote future, for sure.
Thank you <3 All those beautiful kitties... I like to think they're all together in their own MH group too. I miss Lucy so much :(
I saw a post on Facebook the other day, that said "I think the reason I love animals so much is that the only time they've broken my heart is when they've crossed that rainbow bridge." It's so true.
What a touching post and tribute to all the babies that are at the Bridge running healthy and free. And to the parents of these babies, know that they are with you in spirit and will always have a special place in your hearts.
To my special boy.......I will always love you. There isnt a day that goes by that i dont think about you. I know you are king of the Bridge!!!!
Thank you so very much for remembering my sweet Chessie Bear and dear little Hildiekatt.
We are paying forward the love we got from them to Buff and Cooper, and, of course, to Miss Teia Honey.
RIP to all the cats that passed away.
Losing a pet is never easy, the love was mutual and they play a great part in our lives.
Ohhh...your story made me cry. I am so very sorry for you loss, Wonko. Einstein joins the others in the MH circle at the Bridge. She is not alone. Hugs to you~
My first baby, Einstein, said goodbye on August 11, 2014.
We used to always sit her under the tree and joke that she was the best present anyone could ever have. I actually got myself a small plush kitty to remind me of her after she passed, and have it under the tree now.
Such a Thoughtful Gesture from our very special "O"
Thank you for love and support, and for not forgetting our beloved lost baby's.
....and now am off to cry with Jade!
Luv,
CML
...I was crying for both Jade (I can still hardly believe she is on your list, Opus) and everyone's loss by the end of my post, but meant to include HUGS to All.
