Stomach tube is out, a little bit seems to ba making it's way, all the way through my system.

I am now on clear liquid diet.

I was fully awake an hour after the end of the procedure.  Have been remarkably pain free, though, I am on an epidural drip to help control pain.

  I got new glasses yesterday and I just saw your post (gigglesnort).

  This is good news indeed except I wonder if you were knocked back out after that hour...  I probably woulda said "bring me a donut" and then passed out.

  Keep on the healing road.  Let us know when you can when you're back home.

Thank you.  The surgery went well and Dr Alexander said in his considered opinion, all the margins were clear on the tissue removed.

The procedure was over 6 hours long and I was fully awake after only an hour.  All the doctors and nurses are pleased with both my progress and attitude.

I am quite sore, but no real pain.
