Anyone experience Cerebellar Cognitive Affective Syndrome

New to group:   04/06/16 Decompressed with C1 lami- autologous patch- severe post-op vomiting immediately following surgery- ended up with CSF leak and large pseudomeningocele about 1 month post op-finally with repair on May 31 2016. I did have cerebellar cautery with first surgery also but there is encephalomalagia to both cerebellar areas left greater than right which is where the leak originated. I had improvement of the acuteness of symptoms after the leak was repaired but was again slowly developing problems again within another 2 months and continue to do so. List too long to detail. Main question is if anyone formally diagnosed with cerebellar cognitive affective syndrome? I know the circumstances that brought this issue on for me but wondering if anyone else has been identified with this and what the circumstances are? Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

May I ask what type of patch you had? Sorry I am not sure I am understanding what you had one.....

CSF leaks can be due to the type patch and or if you have EDS and the patch is not your own tissues.....
