I can relate to wanting to do something sooner then later, but it is important not to rush forward with surgery without these other answers as they can affect how you recover....it is very important !
Once I had a DX I took a yr of visiting different Drs, going to a Chiari conference in order to learn as much as I could and get all the testing b4 I made a decision....and yeah, it was not easy....but I knew I had to have patience and know what else might be going on first.
Some Chiari specialists can make this easier as many of them will send you for this testing.....
Take a deep breathe and then remember to exhale : )
I have my first visit with the dr about my diagnosis on July 11th at 9sm. So I don't have any information yet. I'm trying to be proactive because my symptoms are really bad and would like to be able to have something done sooner rather than later!
Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
Have you tried to appeal that decision of the Insurance company.....
We do have a list of Drs and I will bump it up...not sure if there are any in Kansas on our list.....sorry I can remember....just look for the list.
Have you had any luck getting related conditions ruled out?
