May I ask where do u live?We may be able to help get u to a chiari specialist.
AS I mentioned b4, once u have chiari u will always have it. It is possible that u suffered nerve damage prior to the surgery and it would not have corrected it, but stopped the progression.
May I ask if u were checked for the CSF flow since ur surgery, or just a regular MRI to check ur chiari?...what about a syrinx, these can develope after surgery.

Thank you for the reply, i have been checked for tethered cord it was negative,
I have never been able to find a dr. that knows much about chiari and the dr. that
did my surgury says i no longer have chiari and that he fixed the problem. not true
i have so many problems on a daily basis, that i find it hard to believe that the surgury cured me as the dr. says. It makes me think something else is going on, but the dr.s
think that i am crazy so i quiet going to any dr. no matter what the problem is.
Thank You

HI, sorry...surgery is to help slow th eprogression of symptoms, but there is no cure.Once u have chiari u will always have chiari.
I was also dx as fibro, but my NS that did my PFD said I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome...which is causing some of my issues.
Where u checked for a syrinx or tethered cord?
Since there r other related conditions, it is important to be checked for all of these to know what is going on.
Have u had recent MRI's to check the status of ur herniation?
