No worries...good luck : )
Okay i will let her know thank you very much for the help!
I would let her know how draining it is...see what u think u can do and if need be cut back ans slowly add more time as u go...so u can build up to it.
It does take 2 yrs to fully heal from this surgery....and u deff have to listen to ur body....other wise u may begin to feel worse instead of better.

Yea i really loved him!
Do you think i should tell my mom that school is too much for me? or should i just tough it out? i really thought that by 2 months i would be back to normal and ready for school
Yeah steps r tough...in fact, I can in the last few months carry a few towels going up stairs, but not too much else, but with out carrying something I can do the steps and feel ok at the top : )
No Dr Bolognese was not my NS, but was in the OR...he did the doplar mapping for mine...I had Dr Insinga. Both of them r great!!
Going up and down stairs takes a lot out of me and i have a hard time concentrating because i am in pain. i havent brought my books in with me because my doctor said i can only lift 10 pounds. i feel like its way too much for me but its my senior year and i cant really afford to not go. i saw you went to the chiari institute in new york! i got my surgery done there by dr.bolognese. was he your surgeon??
I still get exhausted and am past my 1 yr post op annv.....I am much older than u, and I do have a few other issues going on....but, I do believe we have to listen to our bodies.....
It is possible that u r doing too much...a full day at school at 2 months post op...I am not sure I could do it...scratch that I know I could not have.....carrying books...nope...going up stairs...nope.....
Just the concentration on subjects...reading has been diff for me...it is finally getting better, but not at 2 months....
I also have a problem still with loud noise...so everyone passing classes would get to me for sure....and florescent lights also bother me...so, I am not sure how u did it.....
Do u have someone to carry ur books?....I know there r drs out there that say u can do this or that by this time frame, but they do not take into consideration how the person is feeling and doing...a time line is a gauge, but can not be the same for everyone.

i just started back up with school today and im so exhausted. i think that i am doing too much because it really hit me when i got home. i dont want to complain but im just not feeling well. how was it for you? did you get exhausted easily after 2 months? i thought that i would be okay for school but i dont know now.
No worries...unless it continues to get worse, u should be ok.....some discomfort is part of it unfortunately.....

haha i know im sure im just being paranoid about everything. i do have ehlers-danlos but i didnt know that was a symptom. thank you so much for this information it is very helpful!
U r only 2 months post op!..wow...give urself some time...mild HA's r not uncommon as r a return of some symptoms especially at this point in recovery....I was told to expect this as u heal.
It is also possible the sweating could be a thyroid issue...many chiarians do have an autoimmune thyroid condition called Hashimoto's....do ask ur dr about this possibility.
It could explain the ringing in ur ears as well.
The shaking u r experiencing could be tremors again a healing process issue unless it gets worse with time....
There r related conditions to chiari that u should have been tested for, but Ehlers-Danlos can explain the cold hands and feet...so again ask ur dr about this too.
It is possible to have a return of some symptoms...surgery i snot a cure, but a means to slow progression and avoid a syrinx from forming and possibly causing perm nerve damage.
We r happy to have u join our little family here, but not happy about the circumstances that bring u here.
