Hi...I really think Drs and some of us tend to believe we can get back to normal activities a bit too early....as mentioned above, u may have an issue as a result of surgery...or perm nerve damage...surgery is not a cure, so we will have some symptoms, but at 2 yrs post op, I have much less than I did at 1 yr post op....u r only 3 months which is a common time for flare up of symptoms....they should not be new, or worse than b4 surgery...if they r, u need to be seen by ur Dr.
I do not drive, or work...and not sure I could ...again I am 2 yrs post op....we r all diff, but too many rush back to "normal" and chiari is life altering.

I get where you are coming from I had surgery in Feb and am a pediatric OT that works with severe needs kids I work in schools but do lifting with them and just won't be able to do any of that when I return. I am off this summer but if I don't figure something out there is no way I can do my job and I love my job. I am going in for several MRIs today since my symptoms are back full throttle. I am hoping they find something else as I would say the surgery didn't do enough. You may see if they can do more tests. I also am seeing Dr Oro to see what he can come up with as I feel I am in limbo also. Not good advice but understand!
Have you had a new MRI to make sure things are okay in your head? I had a pseudomeningocele (leak) and that explained my returning symptoms. Took a while to get a new MRI to prove that I had a problem but had my surgery this Monday to fix it and hopefully things will be good soon. Good luck, Chiari is very frustrating!
